Vandana Shiva

This video is a documentary about Vandana Shiva, an Indian environmentalist. She explains to us that for her, the control of seeds feels in the control of human life. She tells us that when she was a child she classed in the forest. She chose to study physics in order to understand the functioning of the world around her. After that she did a doctorate in quantum physics where she learned to create connections. She wrote a book and thanks to his she was invited to a biotechnology meeting. It was then that she understood what the industry wanted to do with the seeds. So she started by saving her seeds but she realized that for it to work it had to do heard. Its aim is to fight against GMOs which use propaganda to reach small farmers who are mainly poor. She is certain that with our technological advances we will find an ecological way to produce food without destroying our farms.
